Recently I visited New England and I had the best time! I had the chance to visit Providence, Boston, and Provincetown. It was my first time in New England and I found that everyone was so warm and friendly. I can’t wait to go back! Now this weekend is a busy one here in Florida; Labor Day weekend always brings out the crowds. No matter the party you decide to go to this weekend, remember that in the Sunshine State, the weather is so beautiful here that you can indeed wear white after Labor Day. Thursday September 3
Happy B’Day, Bey! The Ritz Ybor in Tampa is hosting “Bey Day” in honor of Beyoncé‘s 34th birthday. There will be hors d’oeuvres and cocktails, Bey’s greatest hits as selected by VJ Nick James, live entertainment, and prize giveaways. A portion of proceeds will benefit Chime for WHCF-3035_ThursdayChange, Beyoncé’s charity. Be there at 7 p.m.!

Southern Nights Orlando is hosting an event organized by Impulse Group Orlando called Test4Tickets. Get tested on-site, know your HIV status, and you will be entered to win two tickets to see Nick Jonas when he comes to the Amway Center later this month. If you can’t come tonight, Impulse Group will also be at the club tomorrow.

 

Friday September 4

Parliament House in Orlando has a busy Labor Day weekend coming up! Tonight, P-House welcomes Mrs. Kasha Davis from RuPaul’s Drag Race, who will perform with the Footlight Players at 10 p.m. and midnight. There is no cover this evening.

Saturday September 5

Parliament House presents the second of three Labor Day weekend events, which is their WHCF-3035_Saturdayannual Return to Babylon party. Frenchie Davis will be the featured performer tonight. DJ Brianna will be spinning some hot early 2000s songs to get you in the mood. The Footlight Players will perform at 10 p.m. and midnight.

If you love music videos and the songs that accompany them, you’ll have a great time tonight at Enigma in St. Petersburg. DJ Blake B hosts the Saturday Video Dance Party tonight beginning at 10 p.m. There will be fun contests all night and bar tabs will be given to the winners.

Leigh Shannon’s Illusions in Revue show is so fabulous this month that there will be two shows scheduled this evening at Hamburger Mary’s Orlando! Sunday September 6

WHCF-3035_SundayThe final Labor Day weekend party Parliament House is organizing is their annual pig roast, which is free for all attendees between 6 and 9 p.m. Afterwards, Laganja Estranja from RuPaul’s Drag Race will perform with the Footlight Players at 10 p.m. and midnight. Music by DJ Brianna and DJ Infinite.

Have some drinks and get out on the dance floor this evening at Bradley’s on 7th in Tampa! DJ Steve Vaughn provides the music for Evolve Sundays, which he describes as “evolutionary music.” Enjoy the hits from the ’80s, ’90s, 2000s, and today in the WHCF-3035_Sunday2dance bar. The patio is open all night. Remember, Bradley’s never charges cover!

Georgie’s Alibi St. Petersburg is raising money for TransAction Florida, the newest beneficiary of Georgie’s annual White Party. There will be raffles going on all night as well as a benefit show at 10 p.m., including Kori Stevens, her friends, and direct from South Florida, special guest Tiffany Arieagus!
