It’s been over ten years now since Ciara burst onto the R&B and pop music scene with her first album Goodies, and five albums later, fans nationwide are still going crazy over the “Queen of Dance.” On May 4, she released her sixth studio album, named Jackie, after her mother. This month she is kicking off a promotional tour for her new album, and she will be making two stops in Florida. She will perform her first Florida tour date in Miami Beach at The Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theater on Friday, May 15 at 8:30 p.m. The next night, she will be in Tampa at The Ritz Ybor, with her performance starting at 9 p.m.Ciara_copy

Fans fell in love with the Atlanta-based Ciara as soon as she released her debut album Goodies in 2004. The album went triple-platinum and spawned massive hit singles such as the chart-topping “Goodies” (featuring Petey Pablo) and the #2 chart successes “1, 2 Step” (featuring Missy Elliott) and “Oh” (featuring Ludacris). Her follow-up album, Ciara: The Evolution, was also very successful, and the singles “Get Up” and “Promise” became radio favorites and R&B chart hits. Her career high came in 2009 when she partnered with Justin Timberlake on the single “Love Sex Magic,” which hit the top ten on the pop charts and won Ciara her first Grammy Award. Her current album, Jackie, is her sixth studio album, and the lead single, “I Bet,” has already reached the top twenty on the R&B charts.
