What's Happening Central FloridaFinally, it’s here! My favorite time of the year! It’s better than Christmas or New Year’s or even LGBT Pride Month! I’m talking about my birthday! On Tuesday, November 11, I’ll be another year older…29! The past twelve months have been so eventful for me, and I’m hoping the next twelve months bring me even more blessings. Friday November 7

Frankie’s Friends, a charitable pet foundation, is hosting their fourth annual Unleashed for Hope Gala. The theme is “La Tropicana” and the gala will evoke the imagery of 1950s Havana. Russell Rhodes from WTVT-TV FOX 13’s Good Day Tampa Bay will be the master of ceremonies this evening. Orlando native Kirsten Storms, who you may know as Maxie from ABC’s General Hospital, will be in town for the GH Fall Getaway Weekend at the Marriott Courtyard Lake Buena Vista. Did you know that Hamburger Mary’s in Clearwater presents three drag shows every Saturday night? Alicia Markstone stars in Sensational Saturdays, with showtimes at 6 p.m., 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Join Alicia and her rotating cast of special guests as they provide you with one heck of a floor show with your dinner! I love a good fashion show. Orlando International Fashion Week delivers with Resurrection: The Evolution of Fashion, showcasing designs from six Central Florida boutiques.
